Great price, fits like a .45ACP cartridge; easy to do function checks and drills with the laser in place (tap & rack, mag swaps). Unlike previous version, you can leave the batteries in when not in use and they don't drain. The "primer" is easily replaced when worn (about $10) and is good (so far) for hundreds of dry-fires. One negative is you have to push it out from the muzzle end with a pencil or dowel (which seems sort of inelegant).
One caveat: Great concept and design, but as others noted, this device can lose its center after some use, and the extractor may push it off-axis. Changing the "primer" seems to alter the POI as well. You can fiddle with the insertion rotation, but it may really be an approximation of the actual bore axis, and difficult to align again, depending on your handgun. Good for close-up drills, but may not really be an accurate representation of firing your gun. If you're sighting in your rail laser, best to get a bore sight, although these have their own limitations; this device will get you close. The LTS Pro (which fits in the muzzle and is adjustable for multiple calibers) is easier to adjust to your sights by rotating, and is an alternative, but difficult to fit in the muzzle on small calibers (9mm and .357 SIG) LaserLyte Pistol Laser Trainer (9, 40, 45-Caliber). None of these gadgets are perfect, but for their intended purpose work well for between range trips.

Ive had the lt-45 for about 2 weeks and have practiced with it everyday in my sig 220. Im likely well over 1000 shots fired at this point. It has really improved my draw, fire precision, and speed. Im also working on firing on the move. All inside and I dont even have to clean my weapon afterward.
In my view it has already paid for its self by significantly improving in my shooting performance. I have not had any issue with the laser firing. I highly recomend this.

It took a little effort to figure out since it won't feed automatically from a magazine and the pressure of the slide didn't quite seat it. I actually had to force it into the barrel with my thumb after field stripping the pistol to get it in there. Once it was seated it stayed in very snugly. I tested it about 30 times and it 'fired' every time. However I realized that after 15 minutes of sitting the laser came on and stayed on, on its own. Slightly loosening the cap seems to have alleviated this issue.
All in all it is a fun and safe way to test your draw and firing technique. The laser will be able to show you if you are holding and squeezing the trigger wrong because it stays on for about half a second when triggered. If where the laser falls is anything other than a clean dot, you need to work on your poster, form, and trigger squeeze.
Do keep in mind that this practice does circumvent recoil from a fired round. And that you should go to the range and practice with live ammunition to truly become acquainted with your firearm. This product will not make you an accurate marksman. It is only intended to help you practice your draw and fire technique in a safe manner.
